What Is A Construction Contract?
A construction contract is an agreement between two parties: an owner and a contractor. It covers the scope of work to be done and the amount of compensation to be paid for work. The work implies commercial or industrial building usually referred to as a project. The contract requires the owner’s and contractor’s identification information, construction due date and a list of documents to be attached to the contract. Both the owner and the contractor complete and sign the document and keep it until all the work described in the contract is done.
